At a hearing in April at Chippenham Magistrates Court, the defendant, having pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit on the M4 by 34 mph, was fined the maximum of £2500 with £35 costs and the defendant's licence was endorsed with 6 penalty points. Also at Chippenham in May .... a defendant, having pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit on the M4 by 26 mph was fined £2000 with £35 costs accompanied by a licence endorsement of 4 penalty points. |
